Saturday Mornings

When I am in Toronto I absolutely love going to St. Lawrence Market. It's been a tradition to go to this wonderful market every Saturday morning. Th efreshest food in the city and the busy atmosphere with live busker performances never disappoint!

Despite not being much of a coffee drinker, I will admit illy coffee is the best. A billion times better than Starbucks.

I always get gravad lax from Domenic's.

I also love the 24 month old parma from Schafter's.

The City that Never Sleeps

Last week I finished exams! I went to New York City for the weekend with some friends. NYC did not disappoint, it really lives up to the hype! Here are some pics...more to come:

Henri Bendel

Central Park

The Met!!! I spent 4 hours there but could have used a whole week. So beautiful. Don't miss this if you ever visit NYC.

Self Portait of VanGogh. It's actually small but still SO impressive. VanGogh used small strokes to create this masterpiece.

Hercules.

Very artsy museum. The Guggenheim.

Times Sqaure. I saw the Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theatre not far from here. Worth every penny!

Vasco Da Gama

Recently I went to a cute Portuguese cafe that serve tapas at night. Let me just say, I ate a lot! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good food with a laid back atmosphere. I didn't take a picture of the best part of my dinner: NATAS (a Portuguese custard pastry).

Picture Ledges

I am really procrastinating today. I know I said I'll be back after exams but that just seems so far away. This summer I have a whole bunch of ideas on how to liven up my house. Here is one of them:
Summer Project #1: Add a picture ledge.  I cant decide which colour I like more. Any suggestions?

EXAMS

It's that time of the year...

- I'll be back after I'm done!

Body Language

Check this video out. So interesting! It's the power of different body positions from Harvard.
I'm going to give it a try.

Renfrew Avenue, Florida

My friend showed me this property located in Vero, Florida. There is a community with beautiful homes all recently built. Here is one of my favourites! I would do anything for a view like that.

Matisse

I have a beautiful copy of Matisse's painting titled, "Paysage vu d'une fenetre." Translation: Landscape view from a window. I have a large one hanging in my room. The blue tones are very calming. It's a great way to add colour to a white room.

All I do is study. When I'm not studying, I'm sleeping or eating. While studying, I really enjoy listening to relaxing music. Jaymee Dee, the singer in the video below, is so wonderful. I love her voice and coincidentally, all of the covers she has done are of songs that I also love. Here's one of my favourites!

WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

This blog is intended to be your outlet to interesting viewpoints from a university student studying biology and who also has a sincere passion for food, interior design, travel, culture, school, teeth (yes!) and style. Enjoy!

My home for now. Can you guess where?

My Dream Kitchen:

I'm only in University but I can dream! I like the look of white kitchens, they are very sleek and clean. I know they're harder to maintain, but then again, you'll always have a clean looking kitchen-no excuses.

This kitchen is so spacious. I'm a fan of the round table to the left.
 Oh the fire place.

Blue is so beautiful. How cosy.

So much love was put into this kitchen. I like how the island and peripheral countertops are black to add some contrast.
